Tuesday 22nd September 2026 - 7-9pm
Whether you're a regular cyclist, getting back into cycling, commuting, or simply want to know a little more about looking after your bike, this session is for you.
What we'll cover
We'll take you through some simple checks you can do before every ride, including:
π§ Checking your tyres and tyre pressure
π Checking your wheels and brakes
βοΈ Looking after your chain and gears
π© Checking bolts and key components
π² What to look and listen for before setting off
β οΈ Spotting potential problems before they become bigger issues
π οΈ What you can easily do yourself – and when it's best to get your bike checked by a professional
The aim is simple:help you feel more confident about your bike and safer on the road or trail.
There'll also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, so bring along anything you've always wanted to know about basic bike maintenance.
