Ride St Albans Hosts First Event In Store
Last week, we were delighted to host the very first community event at Ride St Albans – an informative and enjoyable Bike Fit Evening with Martyn from The Bike Fitters.
It was fantastic to welcome cyclists of all abilities into the shop for an evening of cycling chat, expert advice and plenty of questions.
Martyn shared his extensive knowledge on the importance of having your bike professionally fitted, explaining how the right bike fit can make a real difference to your riding experience. Topics included how a professional bike fit can:
- Improve comfort on longer rides
- Help reduce common aches and pains in the knees, back, neck and shoulders
- Increase pedalling efficiency
- Improve power output and performance
- Help riders achieve new Personal Bests (PBs)
- Build confidence and enjoyment on every ride
Whether you're a weekend rider, commuter, sportive enthusiast or competitive cyclist, having your bike set up correctly can make a significant difference.
One of the highlights of the evening was simply bringing local cyclists together. It was great to see everyone chatting, sharing experiences, asking questions and meeting other riders from the local cycling community.
At Ride St Albans, we're passionate about creating more than just a bike shop. We want to build a place where cyclists can learn, meet like-minded people and enjoy everything the sport has to offer.
