Sorry we only sell new bikes.

Can I test ride a bike at Ride St Albans?
Yes! Here at Ride we strongly encourage you to take a test ride before you buy any bike. How else are you going to know what suits your style! Our Team is on hand to help with any questions you may have. We have a large car park you can take a ride around. If you need to take it out for a longer ride all we ask, is you leave a credit/debit card or your licence with us while you are on your test ride.

Why do your kid’s bikes cost so much more than the kid's bikes at the bigger retailers for example?
We know that the big retailers sell kid's bikes for less than the price of kid's bike at a bike shop. That's because their kids’ bikes are lower quality, heavy, and can be poorly designed.
The kids bikes we sell (Squish, Kellys & Alpinas) have been painstakingly designed to offer your kids a really fun ride at a reasonable price. They have the same features and technology as many adult bikes, just shrunk to kid-friendly sizes. These bikes are light enough for kids to ride without getting tired, they are manufactured according to a high standard of quality so they will be able to take a lifetime of abuse, and they are designed to make it easy and fun to become a better bike rider.

Do you take Trade-Ins?
No.

Do you repair and service bikes?
Yes. Bike repair and servicing is at the heart of our business. We have a full service and repair workshop staffed by fully trained mechanics who are happy to help. When you come to see us you will see that our shop has an "open" workshop, where customers can watch our mechanics working. Feel free to ask them questions.

Why should I bring my bike to you for a repair instead of bringing it somewhere else?
We believe that our work should speak for itself – check out our google reviews!
We strive to provide professional work at fair prices. Because we have an open workshop, you can watch our mechanics at work. In addition, our work is guaranteed, so if you are dissatisfied with your bike repair, you can bring it back and we'll make the situation right.

Do you do bike fitting?
We provide a basic fit service. During a basic fit session, one of our mechanics will watch you ride on an indoor trainer, while that mechanic adjusts as needed.

Do you offer bike storage?
No.
