Whether it's a simple puncture repair, wheel building, servicing or a full bespoke custom build, our Team of bike mechanics here at Ride St Albans are on hand to help take care of almost anything your bike can throw at us. With a collective experience of over 40 years in cycle repairs and servicing we can guide you through the most complex to the simplest of jobs with fair, honest, and transparent pricing. Our main priority to get you back on your bike on the road as quickly as possible.
We look at every job on an individual basis and will only charge you for the work we do. We will even give you a call to discuss if we find anything else that needs fixing away from the initial conversation just to give you the heads up and of course the go ahead!
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
We do our very best to operate a next day workshop turnaround, where your bike is dropped off on day 1 and collected on day 2 - all subject to parts availability and the work being done. We offer a pre-booking system for all repairs and servicing to ensure you are back on the road or trail as quickly as possible! We also know problems can occur mid ride so will always try our best to help if you pop into the shop!
We feel this is the fairest and easiest way of running our workshop. We are all riders here at Ride St Albans and appreciate bikes need adjustments and little tweaks every now and then. We are happy to help with minor 'on the spot' jobs if time allows. For all workshop bookings or enquiries, please fill out the contact from below:

READY FOR COLLECTION
Once your bike is ready, we will contact you by the pre-agreed way i.e., text, phone call or email to let you know you can collect.
WHEN YOU COLLECT
When you come to collect your bicycle, we will take you through all work we have undertaken and point out any areas which may need further attention. You will also receive a breakdown detailing work done to your bike. Repairs and Servicing are payable in full on collection.
Our workshop is incredibly busy, and we only have so much space in our shop to store bikes for any length of time due to the volume of bicycles in for repairs and servicing.
Therefore, please note that we will advise you when your bicycle is ready for collection, and you will have 7 days to collect your bicycle from this date.
Unless you have a prior agreement that your bicycle cannot be collected after 7 days of being notified there will be a £10 per week storage cost added to your overall bill. We ask if you would like additional time to collect your bike please confirm by email to mike@ridestalbans.com
