At Ride St Albans, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
Change of Mind Returns
Online Purchases
If you purchased an item from our website, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
To be eligible for a refund:
- The item must be unused and in a resaleable condition.
- It must be returned with all original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Proof of purchase is required.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund to your original payment method within 14 days.
Please note that return postage costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or sent in error.
In-Store Purchases
If you purchased an item in-store and have simply changed your mind, returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase, provided:
- The item is unused and in perfect resaleable condition.
- It is returned in its original packaging.
- You provide proof of purchase.
Refunds for change of mind are offered at Ride St Albans' discretion and may be issued to the original payment method or as store credit.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item develops a fault or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

- Your order number or proof of purchase
- A description of the fault
- Photographs where possible
We'll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Bicycles & E-Bikes
For safety reasons, bicycles and e-bikes must not have been used beyond reasonable inspection if being returned following an online purchase.
If a bike has been built, customised, ridden extensively, damaged or modified after delivery, a deduction from any refund may be made to reflect any loss in value where permitted by law.
Warranty claims for bicycles and e-bikes may be handled in conjunction with the relevant manufacturer where appropriate.
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot normally be returned unless they are faulty:
- Gift cards
- Custom-built or specially ordered bicycles
- Special order parts or accessories obtained specifically for a customer
- Personalised or customised products
- Items damaged through misuse, neglect, accident or normal wear and tear
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, colour or model, please contact us before returning your purchase.
Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been inspected and approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Please allow your bank or card provider several working days to complete the transaction.

If returning an item by post, we recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
